01About these terms

These terms govern Pocket Valley for iPhone (the App), provided by the developer identified in the contact section (“we”, “us” or “our”). By using the App, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, stop using the App. Features depend on your installed version; Apple Watch companion support is currently paused.

You must be legally able to accept these terms or have a parent or legal guardian’s permission and supervision where required. Follow the age requirements applicable to your Apple accounts and region.

02Your license to use the App

You may use the App for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment on compatible Apple devices you own or control, subject to applicable App Store usage rules. We and our licensors retain rights in the App’s software, artwork, characters, stories, and other content.

For copies distributed through the App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies unless a separate custom EULA is supplied with that distribution. These terms supplement that license and do not replace it. The applicable EULA controls licensing conflicts; mandatory local law always prevails.

03Farming, timing & virtual items

Pocket Valley is a personal farming game with a fox companion, story tasks, crop harvesting, town sales, and optional online rankings. Available areas and activities are those enabled in your installed version; locked areas and planned features are not a promise of future delivery.

Growth and other timed activities may use elapsed real time, while daily farm activities follow the device’s local date. Progress may be reconciled when you return. Elapsed time does not automatically sell crops or grant every available reward; actions such as harvesting, selling, or claiming a reward may still require you to play. Clock or time-zone changes can affect timing.

Coins, crops, seeds, inventory, and other virtual items are in-game records, have no cash redemption value, and cannot be sold or transferred outside the game through a feature we provide. Rankings do not entitle you to cash or prizes.

The current App has no in-app purchases or subscriptions. Any App Store download price is shown by Apple before purchase. Future paid features, if introduced, will disclose their price and terms before you choose to buy; these terms do not authorize a future charge.

04Local saves & iCloud synchronization

The App saves locally and can work offline. When your iCloud account and services are available, cloud synchronization starts automatically. Connectivity, iCloud storage, account changes, and Apple’s service availability can delay or prevent it. A local save or a confirmed conflict choice does not mean another device has received the latest farm; check the cloud status and confirmation time.

When saves conflict, you may be asked to select which farm to continue. Recovery copies may be preserved, but the App does not combine coins, inventory, or progress from competing saves. Check your choice carefully. Changing Apple accounts does not guarantee that a farm or its leaderboard identity can be transferred.

iCloud sync is not a guarantee against data loss. Deleting the App can remove local progress while leaving cloud data intact; reinstalling can restore that cloud data. Cloud conflict copies, Game Center records, and device backups require separate management as explained in the Privacy Policy. There is currently no in-app reset, full export, or cloud-delete tool. We cannot guarantee recovery of lost progress; this does not limit mandatory consumer remedies.

05Harvest leaderboards & fair play

Game Center participation requires a suitable Apple account and available service. Once authenticated, eligible scores can be submitted automatically. Leaderboards compare crop-sale income, not your current coin balance: spending coins does not reduce recorded income. Daily, weekly, and all-time boards use their respective scoring periods; leaderboard periods use UTC and may differ from your local farm day.

A farm’s income record is linked to the Game Center player associated with it. Switching players does not transfer those scores to another account. Offline submissions may be retried, but ended periods may not be backfilled. Rankings can change and are not a guaranteed record of every sale.

Do not manipulate saves, clocks, accounts, or submissions to falsify scores or interfere with fair rankings. Apple’s Game Center rules also apply. Your leaderboard nickname, score, and rank may be visible to other players; use Apple’s settings to manage your profile and sign-in.

06Acceptable use

Use the App lawfully and respect the rights of others. You must not:

• Redistribute or commercially exploit the App or its protected content without authorization.
• Bypass access protections, distribute malicious code, or interfere with the App’s operation or associated services.
• Reverse engineer or modify the App except where applicable law permits it.
• Use support channels to harass others or submit unlawful or infringing material.

07Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains device storage, private iCloud saves, public Game Center rankings, feedback email, retention, and your choices. Acceptance of these terms is not blanket consent to unrelated personal-data processing.

08Apple services & purchases

Apple provides the App Store, iCloud, and Game Center under its own terms. An Apple account, sufficient storage, a network connection, or appropriate system settings may be needed for those services. Core offline farming does not require a separate Pocket Valley account. We are responsible for the App and its support; Apple is not a party to these supplemental terms. Nothing here changes the applicable EULA or mandatory legal rights.

For any App Store purchase, billing and refund requests are handled through Apple’s available processes, subject to applicable law. These terms do not remove statutory refund or consumer rights.

09Updates & availability

We may update the App to fix issues, adjust game balance, or change features and compatibility. Descriptions of planned features are not a promise that they will be released. We do not guarantee indefinite updates or compatibility with every future device or operating system.

Where a change materially affects your rights or a paid feature, we will give notice and provide any options or remedies required by law. The App is provided as available, subject to statutory guarantees that cannot be excluded.

10Responsibility & consumer rights

We take reasonable care in providing the App, but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the App.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable. Mandatory consumer guarantees and remedies in your country remain available.

11Stopping use

You may stop using the App at any time and delete it from your devices. Your license may end for a material breach, subject to the applicable EULA and any notice or remedy period required by law. Terms that by their nature need to continue, such as intellectual-property protections and accrued legal rights, survive the end of use.

12Disputes & applicable law

Please contact us first if you have a concern so we can try to resolve it. These terms do not deprive you of mandatory protections or the right to bring a claim before courts available to you under applicable consumer law. They do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive collective remedies where those rights are protected.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

13Changes & languages

We may revise these terms and will identify the revision date on this page. Material changes will be notified appropriately and will not retroactively remove accrued rights. Where law requires renewed agreement, we will request it.

English and Simplified Chinese versions are provided for convenience and are intended to have the same meaning. Any discrepancy will be interpreted consistently with mandatory local law and applicable consumer protections.
